Hello. I’m Alicia.

I’ve been a designer and artist my entire life. I am a 1993 graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute and have enjoyed a long successful career in print, advertising, and as a freelance artist. In 2000, I opened, Basilblue Design Company LLC. My focus over the last decade has shifted from primarily graphic design to being hands on in the wood shop and art studio. Each project and client is unique and everyday brings something new.

I have a deep appreciation for beautiful craftsmanship and it is my privilege to collaborate with clients one-on-one to create personal, original, thoughtful and artful heirlooms, gifts  and showpieces to share with generations to come.
