I primarily paint the natural world in a realistic style using mainly pastel and occasionally oil, acrylic and mixed media.  My favorite subject is landscapes and occasionally paint still lives, people and animals. I also enjoy painting and constructing fabric pieces using acrylic and thread.  I also do pet portraits on commission pet portraits on commission. I have taught children’s classes at the Des Moines Art Center and adult education drawing and painting classes.
