Connor Botts is an American cinematographer and 1st Camera Assistant based in Iowa, known for cinematic visuals, atmospheric lighting, and grounded, genre-driven storytelling. With over 15 years of filmmaking experience, he has worked across narrative films, commercials, music videos, and branded content, including more than 50 music videos. His work has earned recognition both online and on the festival circuit. Alien: Lost Transmission has reached hundreds of thousands of views, while his horror short Hell’s Hollow placed in the Top 25 of the Jakob Owens Horror Film Contest and was selected for multiple film festivals. Working both creatively and technically on set, Connor brings experience as a cinematographer, camera assistant, focus puller, editor, and VFX artist.
