Dea ex Machina (“Goddess from the machine”) is the musical persona of songwriter, producer, composer, and recording artist Torina Gedler. As an openly identifying Disabled and Queer music artist, Gedler celebrates the beautiful diversity of Disability, Queerness, and the Divine Feminine through a lush synthpop sound informed by decades of classical music training and a dual career as a choral composer. Gedler is also a Pro Verified member of RAMPD (Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities) and was honored with an Artist Project grant to pursue her album in July 2024.
Aside from writing original music, Gedler also provides services such as piano lessons, composition and song commissions, music production, and public speaking on Disability. Email (tjgedler@gmail.com), text or call (515.402.6280) to collaborate.
