I am an Iowa-based mixed media artist whose work combines black-and-white photography with monoprints and various embellishments such as vibrant gouache, metallic watercolor and embroidered fiber. Each photograph serves as a fragment, a moment isolated from the whole—while the mixed media elements mirror the emotions, energy, and spirit of that moment. I am deeply driven to explore the human experience, weaving together the tangible and intangible—what we see, feel, and remember—ultimately bridging the space between reality and memory.
