Through my photographs of rural Iowa landscapes, architecture, local gatherings, and everyday moments, I document the details that bring the story of the place forward. I am interested in the beauty found in ordinary spaces.

In my portrait work, I photograph people in a way that honors their imperfect humanity. I am especially interested in photographing individuals who are devoted to their crafts and creative practices.
