Munk Rivers is a 4-piece indie-rock band based out of Des Moines, Iowa. Specializing in straight-from-the-heart and thoughtful lyricism, bigger than life guitar work, and experimental production – there’s something for everyone. The project is led by brother-sister duo Charlotte and Tucker Judkins who founded the project in 2021 after moving from Webster City, Iowa to Des Moines. 

Since moving to the “Big City” Munk Rivers picked up bassist Max Green and Izzy Marx from a house show and have since played some of Iowa’s premiere venues including 80/35 music festival, xBk Live, The Lift, and Capital City Pride Fest. The group also released their first two self-produced E.P’s in 2024 – which garnered over 10,000 streams on Spotify.
