I am a painter born on the East Coast of Iowa living my early life studying The Mississippi River, a resource abundant in lessons about nature, physics and beauty. Water’s seasonal mysteries, charms, challenges and enchantments fill my canvases with reality and wonder in compositions that can be found on the internet sites listed above and at my Iowa City studio where I live and work. These works are composed on many scales and are excellent acquisitions for residential, corporate, spiritual and healthcare environments. I work with interior designers, architects and facility managers to create site specific installations. Paintings, prints, collages and mixed-media assemblages reflect upon water, sky, flora and forms of change.
