I am a daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma (Mimi!), but I wasn’t fully ME until I became an artist. When I hold a paintbrush in my hand, I have a true, quiet joy in my heart.  It’s a feeling akin to meditation; comfort, peace, confidence in my place in the world and wonder at the beauty in it.

      I was born and raised in Dubuque, IA.   I worked as a mail carrier for 33 years and retired in 2013.  After taking painting lessons at our local art museum I considered it a lovely way to spend my time but in the past four years things have changed for me!

      I took online lessons, participated in Workshops and completed a Mastermind Mentorship Program with a wonderful teacher who really jumpstarted my vision and put Art in a whole new light. I have a Goal to reach Mastery Level before I leave this world and I work every day to achieve new heights with my paintings!
