Shannon Graham is a fine art photographer who specializes in traditional analog photography, with decades of experience in the darkroom. He is considered by many a master printer who has thoroughly studied and utilizes daily the classic techniques of the medium. As his art evolved over the years, he explored and pioneered alternative photographic processes that pushed the studio’s work into the realm of experimental mixed media, painting with ink, chemistry, light, and shadows to create a modern spin on a classic art form. Graham leads S&C Design Studios, which he runs with his wife and fellow artist, Colleen, and is a passionate collegiate instructor and lecturer in film photography. The studio’s work has been recognized internationally and is regularly on display throughout the U.S.
S&C Design Studios offers original hand-printed wall art for home and commercial interiors and takes commissioned requests for specific subjects or themes. The studio specializes in custom black and white film development and printing, offering those services to other artists, museums, galleries, archivists, and consumers. Using their background in commercial photography, they have also documented several public art displays to showcase installed sculptures and murals at their best and from unique angles.
Shannon is available for art installations and consultations with individuals and businesses. Additionally, Colleen is a writer and editor who can help organizations and individuals craft anything from artist statements to proposals.
