Stephonie A Schmitz, a native of Moline, IL, and current resident of Dubuque, IA, is an accomplished artist specializing in photography, graphic design, and abstract painting. With a passion for photography that dates back to her early years in elementary school, Stephonie’s journey began with a Kodak film camera gifted by her parents. In addition, her fascination with letterform, inspired by her mother’s calligraphy set, evolved into a deep appreciation for abstracts, painting, and design.

In 2002, Stephonie established her business, SAO Dzynz, Inc, in Dubuque, IA, where she initially focused on company branding, custom wedding invitations, and portraiture. Her artistic pursuits have led her to concentrate primarily on fine art landscapes and composites in her photography.
