I am an encaustic artist working in the ancient medium of beeswax, resin, and archival pigments known as encaustic medium. It is a complex technique involving painting with melted wax and fusing each layer with a propane torch. Encaustic is a perfect medium for creating mixed media art by incorporating a variety of other media such as watercolors, tempera, papers, and ink transfers. I work on small- or large-scale paintings on wood panels. Besides being an independent artist I also offer creative services in the area of graphic design, web design and development, and marketing.
