Vicky Matthiessen Krause is a Māori producer and storyteller from the Te Arawa and Ngāpuhi tribes of New Zealand, now based in Burlington, Iowa. Trained in multimedia film at Curtin University in Australia, she brings strong skills in scripting, producing, editing, and narrative development.

With **more than 20 videos** produced for the Veterans National Recovery Center (VNRC), she specializes in creating meaningful short films that explore history, culture, and environmental stewardship.

Her current project, **“Eternal Ember: Stories from the Mississippi Bluffs,”** is a meditative short film series inspired by Aldo Leopold’s land ethic, filmed at Tama’s Lookout on the Mississippi River bluffs.
