Join us for an Art Showcase at Friendship Village
Art Through the Ages
Event: Thursday, October 15th | 5:30-7:00pm
Event Address: Friendship Village Retirement Community | 600 Park Lane, Waterloo, IA 50702
We invite artists of all ages and mediums to participate in this community celebration of creativity. This is a family-friendly event, so please keep all audiences in mind.
Delivery: Art pieces may be dropped off Thursday, October 8 – Sunday, October 11, between 8am–5pm (Sunday 8am-2pm) to allow time for setup. Because of last year’s great response, we ask that artists limit their entries to 4 pieces or less. Please note, we cannot guarantee that all submitted pieces will be able to be displayed, though we will work to make sure at least one piece from each artist is displayed.
All pieces will be required to have a short info sheet filled out and attached to each piece (will be available at time of drop off) so we can properly acknowledge the artist and ensure all pieces get back to their home.
Artwork can be picked up Friday or Saturday October 16 or 17, or taken home at the conclusion of the event.
Art is for display only – sales may be handled privately outside of the event. Artists are welcome to display business/studio cards at the event. If you wish to have cards displayed, please drop them off with your pieces.
We would love to have you attendance at the event, but not required to participate.
