The Clear Lake Arts Center invites artists to apply for the 48th Art in the Park, taking place July 25, 2026, in scenic Clear Lake. The event is held in City Park, located at the intersection of Main Street and South 3rd Street, just steps from the shoreline of Clear Lake. Approximately 75 artists will be invited to exhibit. Applications are submitted through Zapplication.

Artists retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for collecting and reporting applicable Iowa sales tax.

Jury Process

Applications are reviewed through a blind jury process to ensure fairness. Jurors do not see artist names or identifying information. Images must not include signatures, logos, or other identifying marks. Final selections will consider quality as well as a balanced range of artistic media.

Artist Guidelines

All work must be original and handcrafted by the exhibiting artist. Production studio work or commercially produced kits, molds, and prefabricated forms are not permitted. Artists must exhibit only in the media category for which they are accepted and must be present for the full duration of the event.

Each booth space measures 10’ x 10’. Artists must provide their own tents and displays capable of withstanding outdoor conditions (recommended 40 lbs per tent leg). Artists are responsible for their own insurance and protection of work.

Refund Policy

Jury and booth fees are non-refundable. Art in the Park is a rain or shine outdoor event.
