The Iowa Arts Council is now accepting applications for the Iowa Artist Fellowship, a program designed to support individual artists who demonstrate exceptional creativity and a strong commitment to advancing the arts in Iowa. The fellowship strengthens and sustains artistic practice through funding, professional development, and meaningful networking opportunities that contribute to the vitality of our state’s creative community.

Applications are due at midnight on April 1, 2026, and there will be no pre-application process this year. Artists may apply online through the Iowa Arts Council’s SlideRoom portal.
