Attention Iowa Filmmakers: Your Story Matters!

The Lincoln Presidential Foundation is excited to announce its inaugural “Latest Generation Film Contest,” and we want to hear from YOU! Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker or just starting out, this is your chance to share your unique perspective on history through film.

The contest theme, “On This Land,” encourages young filmmakers (ages 14 to 22) to explore and capture the stories rooted in the geography, people, and places that surround them.

Here’s why you should get involved:

• Prizes: Cash awards ranging from $500 to $2,000 will be given to winners in three age categories.
• Red-Carpet Premiere: Winning films will be showcased at a special film festival in Chicago in 2025.
• No Entry Fee: It’s free to submit, so there’s nothing to lose and everything to gain.
• Low-Stakes, High-Reward: This is an opportunity to create something meaningful with the possibility of big recognition and prizes.
