Each year, the Multifaith Action Society (Vancouver, BC) invites artists to submit works of art for publication in our annual Multifaith Calendar. The theme for our upcoming 2026 edition is:  Moments of Hope

In our upcoming 2027 Multifaith Calendar – Moments of Hope, we invite artists to consider the following:

What are the moments of hope that help bring this future into focus, and leave you feeling renewed, refreshed, and ready to grapple with the challenges of our time?  It may be as simple as the peaceful view of ducks on a pond, or the sun’s rays breaking dramatically through the clouds. Perhaps it is a trailblazing young leader at the forefront of a new social movement, a thoughtful, well-timed word or action from a trusted friend, or even just a child’s wondrous innocence.

Submission Guidelines…..  Artists are invited to submit up to 5 works for consideration and artwork on this theme can be submitted in any medium. All artists are invited to submit, those who have been featured in past editions. Ultimately, the interpretation of the theme will be determined by the overall collection of images received.

How We Pay Artists…..  Selected artists will be offered an honorarium of $250 per monthly calendar image, $500 for the cover image, and $100 for smaller inset images placed throughout the Calendar. In addition, featured artists will receive a set of complimentary Calendars once published.

How to Submit Entries…..  Submit digital images (up to 5) in low resolution (jpg/72dpi) to: artsubmissions@multifaithaction.org

Should a piece be chosen, we will contact the artist and request a high resolution version of the image (min 400 dpi).
