Imagine having a dedicated studio in the heart of downtown Burlington—a space designed for sustained creative practice, where artists can develop bodies of work, refine ideas, and focus on making. Undertow Creative is a new artist studio collective for serious, working artists seeking affordable, professional workspace. We’re inviting applications from the founding artists who will help shape the culture of this new creative community. The space will also include a dedicated Printmaking Lab with a professional etching press, monthly printmaking workshops, and scheduled open lab hours for skill-sharing and exploration across disciplines.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking artists with an active, sustained studio practice who value dedicated workspace and are committed to advancing their work. Artists working in all disciplines and mediums are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for the founding studio cohort, please complete the Call for Interest Form, including:

This initial Call for Interest will help shape the inaugural studio cohort as the project moves toward completion. Submission does not guarantee studio placement.
