Request for Submissions

Mainframe Studios is proud to present FASHION FORWARD, a special exhibition celebrating fashion as a dynamic creative practice that merges art, design, function, and storytelling. We invite artists and designers to submit work that explores the creative process behind fashion – from concept and construction to presentation and performance.

Submissions may include finished garments, couture, ready-to-wear, wearable art, accessories, textiles, fashion photography, illustration, video, and selected pieces or complete ensembles.

We encourage work that highlights innovation in materials, craftsmanship, silhouette, pattern, surface design, movement, identity, sustainability, cultural influence, and personal expression.

We welcome submissions from all mediums and disciplines, including but not limited to:

• • Wearable Art

Submissions must maintain a reasonable connection to the theme.

All submissions are due by Sunday, August 2nd at 11:59 PM (CST), and late submissions will not be accepted. There is no entry fee to apply.

Accepted Works will be on display in multiple public gallery spaces at Mainframe Studios during the month of September 2026, with a special reception held during First Friday, September 4th, 2026 5-8pm. All participating artists are encouraged to attend.
