Call for Creatives

Are you just starting your creative journey, or are you ready for a boost to reach the next level?

We’re seeking creatives of all disciplines to share their words, passions, stories, sound, and works with an audience at Salon 26, featuring:

Poetry/Writers – 15 min

Readings of original work and sharing your personal interpretations and themes.

Art Advocacy – 15 min

Those who educate and inform elected officials, the public, or the media about the importance of the arts, or use their creativity for advocacy efforts.

Community Outreach – 15 min

Organizations or individuals who provide services to their local communities through the arts that address needs, share information, and foster collaboration.

Creative Showcase – 30 min or two 15-min slots

A platform to celebrate creative works such as music or performance. Allows individuals and/or organizations to share their creative projects, gain exposure, and foster community.

Visual Art – 15 min

A presentation by a visual artist to share their creative process, inspirations, and the meaning behind their work.

Who We’re Looking For:

• • Emerging artists finding their voice

• • Creatives ready to grow, pivot, or be seen

• • Artists who’ve faced barriers in traditional art spaces

In addition to creatives, we are also looking for photographers and caterers/foodies interested in gaining exposure by photographing the event and participants and creating delicious small bites for approximately 30-40 people.
