The Teaching Artist Partnership creates opportunities for Des Moines area artists to develop arts integrated lessons that support classroom curriculum. Teachers, students, teaching artists and the school community all benefit through deeper engagement and a shared experience in expanding curriculum to address a variety of learning styles and needs through the arts.

Creativity and joy are central to artistic endeavors, enriching the student experience and offering schools opportunities to partner with members of the Des Moines arts community who are not typically part of the traditional classroom.
