The Artists in the Community Program is a City of Urbandale initiative that partners with local and regional artists to bring free, interactive arts experiences into parks and public spaces. Instead of simply presenting artwork to the public, this program focuses on creating opportunities for the community to engage directly with artists through workshops, performances, storytelling, demonstrations, and other hands-on activities. The goal is to strengthen community connection, increase access to the arts, and activate public spaces through creativity and collaboration.
