Caylin graduated with a BFA in painting at UNI and works from her home studio in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Caylin’s art practice explores environmental concerns, human and nature relationships, and the balance of her local ecosystem. She has worked with biologists, naturalists, and enthusiasts to gain a better understanding of the species that inhabit her surroundings. Through the visual language of painting and illustration, Caylin portrays the beauty of species that are less common, misunderstood, threatened, and endangered.
