Professional theater artist, designer, musician and arts administrator living in Ames.  I have been designing for theatrical productions professionally for over 20 years and have extensive experience in sound, lighting, and projection design.  I have also worked extensively in educational settings at high schools, colleges and universities and I was the resident sound designer at the NYU Steinhardt School of Music for 7 years.  While living in New York City I also served as the Technical Manager for the National Opera Center.  I have also served as a Technical Director, Assistant Technical Director, Production Manager, Director and a Performer.  I am currently also assisting my wife at Ames High School as a volunteer training students in the art of theatrical design and stage craft in their new Performing Arts Center.

In addition to theater work, I am also a musician, live sound engineer and recording engineer.  I have experience with anything from small club shows to very large arena and festival sound.  I worked extensively in the entertainment and live event production industry as a technician, engineer, producer, production manager and director.

I am currently working in Arts Administration as the manager for the Ames City Auditorium and Durham Bandshell in Ames.  I am passionate about advancing our local arts and cultural scene and I am also working to build a studio in my home that can service local musicians and voice over artists.
