I create mixed media drawings on layers of paper, primarily using India ink and chalk pastel. My work is raw and lively, with loose, gestural marks contrasted by defined forms and figures. Many pieces break free from the standard square frame, featuring cut, shaped edges that combine to form a larger organism when installed together.

The content of my work is intimate, jovial, and visceral -like a conversation between close friends or reading someone’s journal. Detailed imagery, sprinkled with humor and narrative, reflects intentional choices in each piece, revealing the inner truth of how I relate with the world. I want viewers to feel the presence of a real, purposeful human mind behind the work.

This theme extends into my exploration of individualism, affirming that every aspect of a person’s life, including their death, holds immense value. My work seeks to inspire beauty, hope, and human potential while challenging the superficial and questioning the meaning of these labels in today’s context. Each drawing encourages transcendence—not as a passive being, but as a source of eternal energy. I aim not for perfection, but for wholeness and accuracy through absurdity.
