Jacob Kuperman is a self-taught, Des Moines-based multidisciplinary artist who creates analog and digital projects out of his boutique studio.

Vibrant color palettes, asymmetry, and using simple lines and spontaneous gestures, he produces a personal style where visual balance, chain reactions, and connectivity flirt with cubism and abstraction that reflect his authentic expression — evoking portraits of an imperfect society.

A lack of precise proportions are among the ingredients in a game where you are challenged to decipher Jacob’s messages and concerns through characters and elements in a fragile balance,
but with strong interactions.

Jacob is passionate about nature, imagination, and advocates for mental health, a sustainable food system, and leaving any environment better than we found it.
