I am a painter using mainly acrylic paint on canvas as my preferred medium. Iowa State University is where a Bachelors of Fine art was rewarded in 2003 with an emphasis in painting and drawing. It was at college that a heavy influence from the early abstract expressionist’s was impressed upon me. Within the last couple of years my work has centered around experimentation with figurative work. I like to insert text as a contrasting form of mark making.
