Living in the Midwest has inspired my work, influenced by my appreciation of the works of Vincent Van Gogh. I worked in numerous media over the years until the moment I touched clay in 2015. Now I am obsessed with the drive to express my love of the local landscape and wild things in form and surface as I continue to explore the medium of ceramics.

My work is primarily midrange electric fired stoneware finished with oxides washes, slips and glazes I mix myself.
