Living in the Midwest has inspired my work, influenced by my appreciation of the works of Vincent Van Gogh. I worked in numerous media over the years until the moment I touched clay in 2015. Now I am obsessed with the drive to express my love of the local landscape and wild things in form and surface as I continue to explore the medium of ceramics , learning techniques through the generous sharing of accomplished ceramic artists in workshops near and far. My goal is to elevate the owner’s  everyday experience with unique functional and visual work that I sell through galleries and regional art fairs
