I’m a representational artist inspired by classical drawing and painting. I work in oil, charcoal and pencil. I’m primarily a figure painter and my emphasis is on capturing the human spirit. That’s our common ground, the bond that unites us, and that’s the spirit I love to communicate in my work.

I love every aspect of the creative process: sketching, drawing, composition and painting. I often leave elements of them all in my work. This layered approach allows space for viewer interaction and introspection.
