As a visual art scholar, my research, practice, and purpose are focused on the intersection of art, education, and social justice with a particular interest in the practice of artivism.

As an Educator, I think art has the ability to build cultural empathy and challenge thinking in uniquely intellectual and emotional ways.

As a Curator, many of the exhibitions I have curated focus on using art as a catalyst for conversation, to increase awareness, and galvanize action.

As a Protagonist, I love to find ways to meaningfully incorporate art into any event, program, activity, or discussion and demonstrate the value it has in pushing individual and group thinking.
